Puracyp has two basic business models.
Puracyp offers high-throughput screening services for nuclear receptor activation. Services have utility in safety assessment for prediction of induction of cytochrome P450 enzymes, drug transporters, and homeostasis pathways.
Services provide cost efficient study designs in stable cell lines, for activation of AhR, SXR/PXR, and others. Basic study designs include benchmarking for lead optimization and EC50 determination. Our standard turnaround time is 14 days.
Puracyp also licenses its stable cell lines to those organizations conducting routine high volume screening. Our reporter gene constructs use the luciferase technology (Promega). We have protocols available for 384 well plates and beyond.
